WHO COULD LOVE A CROW?
The crow is just a scavengar bird
So who could love a crow?
Did you know he may well be
The smartest bird anyone can see?
He has meetings with his own kind
Feeds a few others he might find
If one of his friends die along the way
They may have a funeral then fly away
To have a funeral one gives a talk
While others gather and mourn
So they care about one another
And like to eat eggs, fries, and corn
Do we expect crows to be better than us
We eat chicken and eggs, and hunt and fuss
To catch a partridge or a turkey to roast
Then of that some want to boast.
But how we hate it when we see
A crow catching a bird in a tree
The poor little things we all do say
"Get out of here! Get out of the way!"
He may eat eggs he finds in a tree
So who could love a crow?
He might even come and share your tea
Eating crumbs you leave, you see
The crow will clean up the parking lot
That you left a mess, or maybe your tot
Or your teenager threw away
Because he wanted no more today.
Families get together and feed
Their young ones in their need
One juvenile might have a white crown
When you see families gather around.
So, could you love a crow?
